What Does the Live Search Add-on Do?​

FILTER BY CATEGORIES, RELATED SEARCHES, BRANDS, CATEGORIES, FEATURED PRODUCTS sections, ADD TO CART, ADD TO COMPARISON LIST and ADD TO WISH LIST buttons - all this reduces the number of steps to the purchase and increases the chance to sell the product.

The add-on offers corrected suggestions for misspelled search queries, understands synonyms, uses keywords for categories, and can ignore certain symbols/characters.

Saves Your Server Resources​

Allows you to set the Search delay giving your client time to type in a search phrase, uses Ajax technology (sends only one request after the buyer completes entering the search phrase).

Add-on can run in a mode with the use of the cache. To speed up the search, the administrator can index the product data (automatically or manually). The search request is sent automatically when the buyer completes the search phrase.

You can include various elements (product images, product code, prices, etc.) in the search results and set their colors. You can make the default search results page more convenient by adding a special block with categories from the search results and, for example, a filter by brand.
