Now you can use the address, user, and password when setting up the exchange node in 1C; more on this in the next step.

Explanations of parameters:

  • File Part Size – Hosting typically limits the maximum data size for transfer; this parameter addresses the issue of transferring large files. For example, hosting limits the file size to 32 megabytes, but the import.xml file alone takes up 60 megabytes. As a result, it can't be transferred in one go, so 1C may split it into parts, transferring it to the website in byte-by-byte "parts" across multiple requests.
  • Script execution time —usually limited to 30–60 seconds—is the time it takes to complete the script. However, in this case, processing a huge download, especially the first one, can take several hours. This parameter allows for long-term sequential data processing.
  • Archived sharing – it's recommended to always enable this option. When enabled, 1C will compress the uploaded data into a zip archive and transfer it, significantly speeding up the data transfer process to the website, especially if you have a slow internet connection. Also, if you have a lot of images, then instead of sending each file individually, a single archive is sent to the website, which is then unpacked upon receipt.
